Puddle the goose's rescue story

I’m Puddle, a member of the goose gang here at Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary. I used to live in my previous owner’s garden, but when their circumstances changed and they could no longer look after me, I came to Goodheart instead.

I’m now part of the famous sanctuary goose gaggle, and I’m definitely the bossiest and loudest member! You’ll often find me leading my friends down to the pond for a swim or welcoming visitors with a loud “HONK!”. I love my life here, with plenty of space to explore, graze (yes, geese graze!), swim, preen and spend time with my friends – just as geese should.

Animal adoptions are a fantastic way to support our work as a charity, helping to fund everything from food bills and veterinary care for our existing residents, right through to exciting projects like our Pig Barn & Woodland!

Details & T&Cs

  • Adoptions last for 12 months, but we'll send you an email at the end of your adoption, inviting you to renew.
  • If you would like the email updates to go to a different address other than your own, please email us at info@goodheart.org.uk after ordering.
  • We send between 4 and 5 animal updates throughout the year. You can unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.
  • Aspects of the box may differ slightly from the shown image, for example, the style of pen or the photo in the frame but all items listed will be included.
  • We use real straw in our adoption boxes. If you prefer we didn’t in yours, then please get in touch by emailing info@goodheart.org.uk
  • Your adoption is a kind donation to support the vital work of Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries. While you’ll be paired with a specific animal for your adoption gift, your generous contribution will be used wherever the need is greatest across our sanctuary and rescue projects – helping all our residents thrive.
